From 2005 almost all electrical work undertaken in your home must be notified to Building Control for inspection. This includes work carried out professionally or by yourself. ACR Electrical Contractors are registered with the NICEIC and are able to self certify work and make sure that it complies with the required standards and is notified to local Building Control. If your domestic work requires notification, then ACR will contact NICEIC and you will receive a Building Compliance Certificate. By using us, you have a warranty for the completed work.

This includes periodic inpspection reports (PIRs), Landlords certificates, Fire safety, maintenance programmes, inpsection and testing.
PIR (Periodic Inspection Report)
This is an essential electrical test on the condition of the electrical wiring of any installation, large or small. It is often required for insurance purposes or your peace of mind. A PIR may be recommended every year or up to every 10 years depending on the age, use and condition of the installation. We also offer portable appliance testing.
Landlords Certificates
If you are a Landlord and you are renting out a property, you may need to certify the electrics in your property to ensure that they come up to a safe standard. It is essential and your responsibility to make sure that your tenants are safe!
